Membership
The Swan Valley Community Centre requires that anyone who wishes to enroll in any class (both full term and casual) will be required to become a member, with an annual fee of $5. This is a constitutional requirement that is unavoidable. This fee is only paid once at the beginning of each calendar year.
Your membership details will be kept on file in the office, and not shared anywhere
Swan Valley Community Centre only exists because of the people who volunteer their time and knowledge. There are lots of ways to give some time at the centre.
Join the Swan Valley Community Centre Committee. Our AGM is held in August each year. The committee stand down and positions are up for election and voted on at the meeting. The positions held by the committee are: President Vice President Secretary Treasurer General Committee The committee meet each month. Everyone is invited to committee meetings if you wish to attend. One member from each group is encouraged to attend each month to keep up with going-ons at the centre as well as share ideas/concerns about their group. This does not need to be the same person each month
Other Ways To Help
Man our stall at events - you will have the chance to share what we do with the community, encouraging new members and also getting the chance to meet people from other groups who are helping too
Join a Sub-Committee to help organise events such as Friendship Day and Twilight Festival
Help when we host the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, which raises funds for the centre. Either by volunteering for a couple of hours on the day or helping to prepare for the day
